Medical Laboratory Scientist III

SUMMARY: Performs all laboratory procedures as designated, keeping within quality control limits. Recognizes abnormal results and procedural errors, promptly notifying the appropriate personnel. Assists in routine collection of blood samples and other specimens.

Required Education/Training: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (or related life science degree)
Required Experience: Minimum two (2) years Medical Laboratory Scientist experience
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registration as a Medical Technologist by the ASCP Board of Registry, MT (ASCP) or registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the ASCP Board of Registry, MLS (ASCP)cm.

Preferred Experience: Supervisory experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: ASCP Specialty Certification
