Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Research Associate
Position type: Full-time- Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Seattle, WA
As a Research Associate you will:
* Routine analysis of cell product for quality attributes using flow cytometry and cell-based assays.
* Design, plan, execute, and analyze lab experiments.
* Manage inventory of samples and materials and ensure proper handling and storage
* Maintain proper documentation of experimental results using an electronic lab notebook
* Summarize and present scientific data, report results to project teams
* Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with policies/procedures/regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
* M.S. or B.S. in Immunology, Biological or Chemical Engineering, Virology, Molecular or Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline. (Minimum B.S. required)
* 3+ years hands on experience with cellular analytical techniques
* Experience with experimental design and assay development
* Excellent aseptic technique and experience with mammalian and/or primary cell culture
* Experience with flow cytometry instrumentation, maintenance, and software (FlowJo)
* Uses scientific principles and engineering fundamentals to solve problems

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $30 - $33 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
