Description APPLE INC has the following available in Waltham, Massachusetts. Design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). Work on the Video Encoder/Compression with the Silicon Validation team. Ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle tasks. Develop low-level software to validate the functionality, conformance, and performance of video compression blocks. Bring up and debug devices on new hardware platforms. Work with multi-functional teams to support product requirements. Design and develop software to validate and test video systems in silicon. Triage and debug failures. Write script harnesses to run the tests. Write test plans enumerating the testing required for validation of the video system in silicon. Report results of silicon testing. 40 hours/week.
