Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization. This is a contract position covering a leave of absence.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Lockland, OH

Pay Range: $20$25 per hour

Work Schedule: Training is 7am-3:30 pm then you will move to 2nd shift working 3:00pm-11:30pm.

What's the Job?

  • Comply with safety rules and regulations, and actively participate in safety meetings and training.
  • Test production batches against designated product specifications and recommend in-process adjustments as needed.
  • Evaluate incoming raw materials and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Enter Quality Control (QC) test data into the QC database accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly QC area, including routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Demonstrated capability in basic mathematics skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently after initial training on first shift.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and safety practices.
