Chemical Operator 21.50/hr Job Description In this role, you will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink. As an Ink Maker/Ink Technician, you will be responsible for following batch instructions to weigh batches, change and mix inks, understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials, and mixing batches of ink while making necessary additions. Responsibilities Follow batch instructions to weigh batches, change, and mix inks. Understand and implement proper mixing procedures and raw materials. Mix batches of ink and make necessary additions for quality assurance. Maintain safety and efficiency in operating mills and manufacturing processes. Essential Skills Ability to lift 50 lbs. Good computer skills. Prior manufacturing experience. Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior chemical experience. Experience in an inplant, ink, or pressroom setting. Color matching skills. Forklift experience. Chemical operator experience. Why Work Here?
