Sanofi Immuno-Oncology Therapeutic Area is seeking a highly motivated, independent, and scientifically creative individual with expertise in immunotherapy and cell-modulation technologies to support programs on next-generation cellular therapies in the field of Cancer Immunotherapy. The position is based at Immunomodulation & Cell Reprogramming cluster in Cambridge, MA. Ready to get started? Main Responsibilities: Isolation, phenotypic and functional characterization of primary human and mouse cells. Optimize and execute immune cell-based in vitro assays (cytokine release, proliferation, activation, cell killing etc.). Execute planed bench and cell culture experiments Participate in cell-based assay development, and assay validation Maintain accurate, complete, and timely data in laboratory notebooks/electronic notebook Analyze and interpret data and draw conclusions to help decide next steps. Conduct in vitro studies with primary cells and cell lines to probe targets of interest and validate potential therapeutic tools and reagents Participate in in vivo studies (e.g., tumor-size measurements, tumor excision, and analysis) Contribute to daily laboratory activities (including procurement and organization) Work in BSL2 environment Present results in team meetings About You Earned Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biotechnology or a related field in the Life Sciences plus 1 or more years of relevant research experience in industry required Basic knowledge of fundamental immunology and prior experience with cell-based assays is highly preferred. Working knowledge of molecular biology, flowcytometry and spheroid co-culture are considered a plus. Excellent attention to detail is critical Ability to work in fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
