Metallurgical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize metal powder production processes - including atomization, classification, and sintering

• Perform powder characterization: particle size, morphology, purity, flow rate, and more

• Improve process efficiency and product quality using Lean and data-driven methods

• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to support innovation and scale-up projects

• Troubleshoot technical issues in production and materials

• Develop SOPs and ensure safety and compliance with ISO 9001 and other quality systems

• Contribute to the implementation of new equipment and manufacturing technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in powder metallurgy or metal powder production

• Knowledge of atomization techniques (gas, water, centrifugal) and powder testing

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with quality systems

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills

Preferred:

• Master's degree

• Experience with additive manufacturing (e.g., metal 3D printing)

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, or continuous improvement tools

• Exposure to HIP, sintering, or advanced consolidation methods
