Kelly Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician for one of our top clients .

Duration: 1 Year
Type: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $21/hr. (W2)
Shift Times: 8AM-4:30PM
Interview Process: Virtual

Educational Requirements:

• BS in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related fields) is required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Work: This position involves working in a laboratory setting, conducting experiments, handling laboratory equipment and it is 100% site based. Routine research laboratory specific activities might be different base on the different CPD&D area recruiting focus

Technical Skills and previous experience

• Lab Equipment and Techniques: This position requires familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques.
  
• Prior Lab Experience: 1 years+ prior relevant experience working in a research or manufacturing/engineering laboratory environment is preferred.
  

Nice to have

• Experience with data entry and data management
  
• Cell culture and aseptic technique
  
• Experience preparing media recipes
  
• Experience with microbiology
  

Safety and Compliance:

• Adherence to Company Safety Protocols: Understands and follows EH&S standards. Use of safety procedures & appropriate PPE mandated. Compliance with laboratory safety procedures.

Soft Skills:

• Communication and Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective documentation and communication of results, good organization skills, follow SOPs, and adhere to safety protocols, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
