You'll lead and support experimental design and execution using advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, qPCR, ELISA, and Western blotting. responsibilities:
  • Design and execute experiments to support siRNA platform development for therapeutic applications.
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work, including mammalian cell culture, RNA extraction, qPCR, ELISA, and Western blotting.
  • Analyze and interpret multidisciplinary data to guide experimental direction and project advancement.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to address scientific challenges and drive innovation in RNA-based therapies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality results.
  • Contribute to internal reports, scientific presentations, and potentially intellectual property filings.
  • Maintain high laboratory productivity and efficiency while adhering to best practices and safety standards.
  • Apply knowledge of oligonucleotide therapeutics, CNS disease models, or DNA/RNA editing tools as needed to support project goals.

qualifications:
Required Skills:

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or a related field

    (OR a Master's degree with 8+ years of significant relevant industry experience)
  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Mammalian cell culture
    • RNA extraction and quantitation (qPCR)
    • Protein quantification (ELISA, Western blot)
  • Proven ability to design and execute experiments independently
  • Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and scientific problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment
Preferred Skills:

  • Industry experience in oligonucleotide therapeutics
  • Familiarity with CNS disease models
  • Experience with DNA/RNA editing tools (e.g., CRISPR, ASOs)
  • Exposure to next-generation sequencing (NGS) or Sanger sequencing
  • Prior contribution to intellectual property or internal scientific reports
