Job DescriptionJob Description
Under direct supervision, trains and becomes familiar with the chemical hygiene plan and the current HSE laboratory safety standards. Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties. Performs duties to conduct prototype or laboratory tests following prescribed procedures. Learns to build equipment and/or perform basic material or environmental tests using basic techniques with electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment. Learns to document test data for reporting purposes. Maintains files and documentation related to test equipment and test results of equipment. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Skills typically through eight (8) hours of college chemistry (preferred).
We are creating these opportunities to replace 02 employees who left at the beginning of Q1/Q2 so that we can efficiently and with greater quality meet our activities at the CMT/PE Laboratory. Meet Operational Needs, Increased demand for projects, researches , services. Need for new technical or scientific skills. Expand Innovation Capabilities, Incorporate new ideas and perspectives into the team. Length of Assignment 6 months a priority then depending on performance, renew for another 6 months or become an effective member of the Lab Will worker convert to FTE? Yes Can be Expected start date: June 14TH Shift, hours, rotation: 12 hours day and 10 on x 4 off , night and day shift Is this the role 100% onsite, 100% remote, or hybrid remote/onsite? If hybrid what is the expected onsite/work from home schedule? 100 % presential at Odessa-Lab Top three skills needed to perform this role: These are increasingly valued in collaborative and innovative environments: 1. Attention to detail and technical skills. 2. Organization and responsibility with deadlines and procedures. 3. Teamwork and good communication with colleagues and supervisors. 4.
