QC Chemist - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We're seeking a QC Chemist to support quality control testing for newly approved products and license transfers in a cGMP-compliant environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with cutting-edge analytical instruments and

a collaborative team to ensure the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products.

Central Islip or Hauppauge, NY

Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

$60,000-$90,000 + OT Opportunities

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of experience in quality control chemical testing.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with HPLC and dissolution testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced chemical testing in a QC lab setting.
• Operate and maintain specialized analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, ICP-MS/OES, UV, Dissolution, etc.).
• Conduct investigations and support documentation in compliance with cGMP standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product quality and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with analytical software: Empower, Chromeleon, LabSolutions, LIMS.
• Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Karl Fischer titration, and titration.
• Experience with investigation activities and GMP documentation.
• Work Environment
• cGMP laboratory and manufacturing setting.
• Use of PPE including lab coats, safety glasses, and respiratory protection.
• Exposure to solvents, powders, and other pharmaceutical materials.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

benefits start day 1 and they are eligible for 2 weeks vacation, 56 hours sick and wellness add 2 days mental health days
