Schedule: Sunday Thursday, 5:00 AM 1:30 PM (eligible for shift differential)

Overview
This client is an industry-leading company that's leading the way in transforming cancer care through advanced molecular diagnostics. In this role, you will perform high complexity clinical laboratory testing on patient specimens, review and report results, and ensure compliance with all applicable laboratory, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform molecular genetic testing on clinical specimens
- Follow standard operating procedures for specimen handling, processing, and test analysis
- Perform and document laboratory quality control procedures
- Prepare reagents and perform proficiency testing
- Assist in research, validation, and troubleshooting activities
- Document corrective actions and ensure compliance with quality and safety protocols
- Participate in regulatory inspections and maintain audit readiness
- Collaborate with team members and support lab operations
- Bachelors degree in a relevant life science field required
- Active California CLS or CGMBS license required
- Experience in high complexity clinical laboratory testing, preferably in molecular diagnostics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with molecular testing methods (PCR, Microarray, Sanger/NGS sequencing) is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must maintain continuing education units as required by regulatory bodies
