+ Perform sample preparation and analysis according to facility WASTE Analysis Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, and Chemical Hygiene Plan requirements in support of facility operations.

+ Perform data entry and associated records organization.

+ Identify and reconcile material inconsistencies in a timely manner.

+ Clean up any spills and residues after operations.

+ Perform routine maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.

+ Always maintain proper housekeeping and safety in the lab.

+ Perform other routine laboratory duties. That may include any of the follow: lab inspections, supply ordering, data review, and other duties as needed.

**Basic Required Qualifications: **

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Associates degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related Science

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related Science

+ 2 or more years of prior laboratory experience

+ 40-hour HAZWOPER training

+ Experience with basic lab techniques and calculations

+ Knowledge of Gas Chromatography and/or ICP-OES

+ Knowledge of chemical compatibilities
