QC Chemist I

Are you a detail-oriented chemist with a passion for quality and precision? Our team is looking for a QC Chemist I to support pharmaceutical manufacturing by performing critical lab testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products. This is a contract-to-hire , lab-based role, in a GMP-regulated environment.

Rate : $25-27/hr.
Schedule : 2pm-12:30am | Mon-Thursday

Summary :

• The QC Chemist I will ensure accurate, reproducible and timely QC testing in directly supporting in process manufacturing, release testing, and stability studies.
  
• Perform testing on in-process product, final product, and raw materials for routine testing, validation testing, and stability testing
  
• Communicate results through appropriate documentation and batch records, statistical analysis and trending.
  
• Perform instrument maintenance
  
• Identify and report equipment and method failures
  
• Identify areas in the lab for continuous improvement
  
• Participate in method improvements in the laboratory

Requirements :

• BS in Chemistry or related life science
  
• Experience in GMP lab applications
  
• Basic understanding of chemical technology and methodology
  
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
  
• Proven ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team member
  
• Proven ability to maintain a high attention to detail
