Description

Description In Materials Product Design, we strive to exceed industry standards by demonstrating creativity in problem-solving, mastery of manipulating material properties and processes to optimize performance, and the ability to deliver material solutions with intricate specifications. As a Senior Materials Engineer specializing in Ceramics, you will work with an extraordinary team of materials experts to help develop and implement high-performance ceramic materials and processes for a wide range of Apple products. Working closely with multi-functional teams and external vendors, you will determine the best materials and processes to meet the stringent requirements for future products. The role entails close collaboration with multi-functional partners in Product Design, Manufacturing Design, and Reliability, as well as external vendors, to develop and optimize ceramic compositions and manufacturing techniques to meet Apples rigorous functional and aesthetic requirements. Technical proficiency, the capacity for cross-team collaboration , project management, and exceptional interpersonal skills are all essential for this position.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
