Job Description

We are seeking a Scientist with expertise in spray cans for consumer safety, particularly in the development of sun care products. This role will involve executing research plans for sun care products and packaging technology, conducting lab-scale package filling and testing, and running physical property testing including spray rate, pattern, and particle size.

Responsibilities

  • Execute research plans for sun care products and packaging technology.
  • Conduct lab-scale package filling and testing.
  • Run physical property testing including spray rate, pattern, and particle size.
  • Ensure documentation practices are adhered to and maintain proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (preferred).
  • 1-2+ years of lab experience in cosmetic labs, focusing on sun care or skin care.
  • Proficiency in documentation practices and use of PowerPoint and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with PLM systems or formula net systems.
  • Knowledge of product development and packaging protocols.
  • Skills in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Understanding of the product development process.
Work Environment

This position is based in a laboratory setting, where you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment for testing and development purposes. The work environment is collaborative, fostering innovation and excellence in product development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
