Chemical Operator

JOB LOCATION: COWPENS SC

HOURS: Unspecified

PAY: $27.00

DUTIES INCLUDE:

1. Load/unload chemicals used in batches

2. Maintain records of production and inventory movement

3. Operate reactors, boilers, pumps, and other equipment

4. Make samples and test products

5. Check colors visually of raw materials, products, and colored indicators of lab tests

6. Drum products

7. Ship/Receive product/raw materials, drums, totes, and tanker trucks

8. Palletize drums by rolling and pushing

9. Moving drums with a forklift to the designated work areas

10. Maintain chemical inventory

11. Maintain adequate supply needed for manufacturing, maintenance, and safety

12. Comply with safety, environmental and quality control systems

13. Calibrate equipment

14. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and plant

15. Perform various maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor or management

3 years of industrial experience is required
