Carnegie Mellon Universitys department of Chemical Engineering is searching for a Research Assistant to join their team. This role will support data analysis, application development, and research objectives. Work could include, for example, software development, investigation and summary of existing research reports/papers, presentations, and report/paper writing.
Responsibilities:
- Following research plans to collect, record, and manipulate research data. Maintains accurate and detailed research records and files.
- Testing software prototypes and interacting with research subjects in order to perform job functions.
- Performing basic data analysis to product reports.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Degree or Equivalent Required
- 1 3 years of laboratory experience
- Strong communication and excellent time management skills
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
