A pharmaceutical company based in Boston is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join their team!
Compensation:
$55/hr to $60/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
-2+ years of experience in targeted mass spectrometry-based proteomics in industry or startup biotech setting or MS
-5 + years of experience in targeted MS
-Hands on experiences on targeted MS method development and execution, including highly multiplexed and sensitive PRM stable isotope labeled peptide assays using DDA and DIA data
-Hands on experiences in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting nanoLC and Orbitrap MS instruments
-Hands-on experience in sample preparation method development and optimization from various matrices (cells, tissues, plasma, biofluids)
-Demonstrated ability to independently analyze, and interpret targeted proteomics data, and communicate effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
-Experiences in expression proteomics and chemoproteomics are highly desirable
-Demonstrated ability to develop methods and lead mechanism of action mass spectrometry studies
-Develop and optimize mass spectrometry screening assays based on project needs
-Experience with sample preparation from primary cells is a plus
-PhD in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Biology null
