Pay Rate: $24/hr, depending on experience Responsibilities:Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and client procedures and guidelines, this position involves:
- Sampling Preparation : Preparation of sample labels, materials, and related documentation.
- Independent Analysis : Routine analysis of samples using applicable test methods.
- Sample Logging : Logging samples into LIMS or manual system, including logbooks and control number maintenance.
- Routine Testing : Performing and monitoring testing using laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, RAMAN, etc.
- Problem Recognition : Identifying issues during analysis and material receiving.
- Investigations : Initiating investigations for non-conforming materials, documentation, and lab test results.
- Instrument Checks : Performing daily calibration/verification checks on laboratory instruments.
- Data Management : Making and recording observations and calculations, collecting and preparing data for evaluation, and archiving documentation on completed testing.
- Related Duties : Performing other related duties as assigned by management, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting laboratory housekeeping, environmental, and safety initiatives.
- Team Environment : Working in a team environment while behaving in a CREDO-based respectful manner.
- Regulatory Compliance : Complying with all federally regulated programs, quality system requirements, and job-specific safety procedures.
- Equipment Usage : Using test equipment such as Starett Gauge, Mitutoyo Gauge, Microscope, etc., and utilizing applicable software systems like ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, SAP, LIMS, Maximo, etc.
- Performance Targets : Consistently meeting required work performance targets (REs), if applicable.
- Support Initiatives : Supporting LEAN, Six Sigma, and Maintenance Excellence (ME2) initiatives, including 6S and Operator Asset Care.
- Record Completion : Accurately completing records as defined within the job procedures (manual and/or electronic documentation).
- Experience with laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and RAMAN.
- Proficient in using software systems for laboratory management (e.g., LIMS, SAP).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to comply with quality system requirements and job-specific safety procedures.
- Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma initiatives is a plus.
- Flexible work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
