QC Lab Analyst
Location : Savannah, GA
Work Schedule : 2-3-2 shift rotation, 6:45 am to 7:00pm and 6:45pm to 7:00am. 36hr week then 48hr week rotations
Pay Range : $25 - $27/hr
Type : Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES Operates and maintains various quality control instruments. Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods. Approves/rejects materials based upon set specifications. Enters data into plant information system to allow generation of reports on plant operating conditions Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan. Performs calibrations of equipment. Assists in troubleshooting problems with in-process materials, intermediates and finished products. May perform other related assignments as determined by supervision.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education equivalent to: BS in Chemistry or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Minimum 6 months lab experience Job related work experience skills/knowledge requirements: (describes ideal and preferable experience but not the number of years) Self motivated individual with good time management skills Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office) Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
