Hematology Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician

Full-Time | Variable Schedule | Hematology Focus

A well-established clinical laboratory in Tennessee is currently seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join its hematology team. This role is essential in supporting the accurate and timely processing of patient samples to guide quality care across a broad patient population.

The lab operates in a dynamic, patient-centered environment and places a high value on precision, teamwork, and professional growth. This position offers a unique mix of standard testing duties and operational contributions to help support lab services and maintain best-in-class practices.

Schedule:

• Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Friday & Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Perform hematology testing and analysis according to departmental protocols

• Accurately process and report patient specimens within defined productivity expectations

• Communicate key findings and issues to supervisors or senior technologists

• Assist with instrument maintenance and troubleshooting procedures

• Support quality assurance programs and documentation

• Help manage inventory and assist with supply ordering

• Collaborate with other departments and contribute to a strong team environment

• Participate in laboratory projects and staff training initiatives

• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
