Summary of Job Duties: The Senior Process Engineer for the Multi-User Silicon Carbide Research and Fabrication Lab (MUSiC) will be responsible for developing and optimizing semiconductor fabrication processes and transferring them across the various tools. The position will play a key role in supporting low-volume production and R&D prototyping, with a focus on advancing cutting-edge carbide (SiC) device technologies in ways that are both research-driven and industrially scalable. This is a multidisciplinary position that spans several process modules and requires close collaboration with integration, equipment, and product development teams.The Senior Process Engineer will report directly to the MUSiC Fabrication Director. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function, as is the ability to maintain professional, collegial working relationships in a collaborative research environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least five years of semiconductor experience in any of the following: process engineering: photolithography, thin film, wet process, diffusion, ion implantation, dry etch; quality; yield enhancement; integration
Experience identifying and resolving issues using FMEA or 8D
Experience supervising processes to ensure quality output
At least three years experience in a supervisory role
U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
Extensive experience in developing and running successful epitaxy processing, as well as running and maintaining epi equipment
At least 10 years of industry experience having multi-disciplinary responsibilities in areas such as process integration and process development engineering
Work experience and knowledge in all areas of unit processing
Experience with photolithography processing in an industrial setting
Working experience with equipment maintenance and have knowledge of the tools such that tools and processes are qualified when in production mode
