Chemist

Our client, a leader in the chemical industry, is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the Monroeville Business and Technology Center supporting the Photochromics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Monroeville, PA

**What's the Job?**

+ Following standard operating procedures and industry standards for formula mixing, sample preparation, and testing.

+ Precise measurement and mixing of formula ingredients as described by a formulation log.

+ Preparing test specimens for a variety of tests.

+ Documenting and reporting experimental details with keen observation of experimental outcomes.

+ Independently planning and executing all aspects of an experiment after discussing objectives with the supervisor.

**What's Needed?**

+ Bachelor's Degree in material science, chemistry, or a similar technical field.

+ 0-1 year of laboratory experience.

+ Hands-on experience with formulations and coatings is desired.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project tasks.

+ Ability to uphold safety standards and work efficiently.
