Job Description
Qualifications & Experience
Required Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in the in the Life Sciences or Engineering field (biology, immunology, cell biology, engineering, chemistry, or related field) is required.
Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of current or previous academic and/or industry laboratory bench level experience in product development of CAR-based cell therapies or related field.
Master's Degree with 2+ years of current or previous academic and/or industry bench level experience in product development of CAr-based cell therapies or related field.
Experience in handling and maintaining primary cell culture and mammalian cell lines.
Basic scientific background in understanding and performing cell-based assays and technology readouts.
Experience with standard in-vitro assays, assay development, assay optimization, and troubleshooting.
Good verbal and written communication skills with some experience writing internal documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience in CAR T cell therapy preferred.
Basic technical understanding of CAR T cell analytical methods and evolving technologies
Firsthand experience with cellular biology techniques and cell-based assays, including but not limited to flow cytometry, Incucyte, MSD/ELISA based assays, sterile technique, metabolic assays.
Ability to work within established protocols and, when necessary, optimize methods and protocols.
Basic understanding of drug development process in an industry setting with clear examples of success.
Basic understanding of early, late-stage, and commercial drug development process.
Mindset focused on continuous improvement, actively seeking opportunities to enhance lab efficiency and safety.
