Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Manager - Flow Cytometry Laboratory Department: University Hospital | Lab Administration

Scope of Position
The Flow Cytometry Laboratory performs routine and highly complex testing in immunophenotyping for analysis of various disease states including Immunodeficiency and Leukemia/Lymphoma, platelet antibody and other flow cytometric related testing. The department is staffed Monday through Friday, 24 hours, and Saturday's from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with Sunday call coverage. The Lab offers flexible work assignments, limited weekend assignments and an incredible team atmosphere. This is a growing department with many new and exciting technologies that include research panels and cell sorting.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for the administration and operational activities of personnel management, budgeting, accreditation, compliance and all other operational activities of the Flow Cytometry Lab.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in medical technology, Associates degree or biologic science required with Medical Technology or MLT certification and 5 years of clinical laboratory experience. Previous supervisory / management experience highly desirable.
