The Research Associate will work/assist on current projects involving in vitro exposure of cell cultures (35% time-effort) and in vivo studies (35% time-effort) related to inhalation of environmental pollutants. They will perform immunological, biochemical, cellular and molecular biological assays for these studies. The applicant must be able to work independently in a collaborative team environment. The Research Associate will also perform laboratory tasks as assigned, including ordering supplies and inventory maintenance (20% time-effort). They will assist in the training and supervision of student workers and graduate students working in the laboratory (10% time-effort).
Job Responsibilities:
35%- Work/assist on current projects involving in vitro exposure of cell cultures and perform immunological, biochemical, cellular and molecular biological assays for these studies.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field, and experience conducting research in a laboratory setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's in Biology, Toxicology, Public Health, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field; and 1 year or more of related experience.
