- Architect distributed systems for the storage and processing of dynamic media data
- Develop efficient, reliable, and testable services in TypeScript, Python, and C++ that are designed to run on Kubernetes
- Maintain code to address functional changes, language/library/service updates, and bug fixes
- Regularly review and improve test code to achieve a high standard of software quality, code coverage, and performance metrics
- Mentor junior engineers on the team, including reviewing their code and providing guidance on implementation approaches
- Work in a small, collaborative, and highly productive team environment
- Participate in inventing technology that has a big impact across Adobe by writing patents, and by being active in Adobes internal community of software development professionals
- Participate in Adobes Machine Learning technology initiatives.
- Bachelor of Science, or higher degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
- Firm computer science fundamentals, including design patterns, algorithms, asymptotic complexity, parallelism, and database schema design
- Expertise with professional customer workflows involving animation, motion graphics, and visual effects
- Significant (15+ years) experience developing services in TypeScript, Python, or C++
- Experience with the web platform, including competence with frontend web technologies at a level that enables you to build test interfaces and developer tools
- Experience with audio and video processing and media formats
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in future people-management opportunities
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
