Description:

We're working with a cutting-edge life sciences manufacturer in Lawrence, MA, and they're looking to add a Quality Control Technician to their growing team. If you bring hands-on quality inspection experience and strong computer skills, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a company producing advanced cell counting and image cytometry devices used in biomedical research and diagnostics.

What You'll Be Doing:

Conduct product and material inspections to verify compliance with specifications and drawings

Use calipers, gauges, and other basic inspection tools to ensure quality

Generate Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) and lead MRB discussions for resolution

Maintain and organize inspection records and retain samples per protocol

Escalate quality issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution

Review and redline SOPs to support standard work and continuous improvement

Recommend process improvements using critical thinking and problem-solving

Manage QC inventory using Kanban principles

Verify calibration of test equipment and tools per established programs

Support additional quality-related initiatives as needed

What You'll Bring:

3+ years of Quality Control experience, preferably in a biomedical or manufacturing environment

Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs as required

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in a technical or scientific field

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards

Background in continuous improvement methodologies

Location: Lawrence, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift

Pay Rate: $21.77/hour

Contract Duration: 6+ months (with potential to convert)
