Our client, a leading organization in the analytical laboratory field, is seeking a Lab Tech Sr. - 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Lab Tech Sr., you will be part of a dynamic department supporting quality assurance and analytical processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Lab Tech Sr. - 2nd Shift
**Location:** Santa Rosa, CA
**Pay Range:** $22/hr - 11:30 am to 7:00pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch.
+ Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports.
+ Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOP.
+ Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification.
**What's Needed?**
+ A bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
+ At least one year of experience working in an analytical lab.
+ The ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
+ Experience working with biological specimens and/or analytical instruments (LC/MS/MS and/or GC/MS) is preferred.
+ Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with supervisors and team members.
