Randstad is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Protein Scientist to join a dynamic research team. You will be responsible for performing protein quantification, protein characterization, protein identification, and related sample preparation. This is a fully onsite position in St. Louis, MO. Local candidates preferred as relocation cost reimbursement is not available for this position. salary: $38 - $40 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Daily collaboration with teammates, regular lab meetings, data reviews, and project updates. Running assays, prepping samples, analyzing gels, etc. Protein Purifcation and Characterization Perform SDS-PAGE and gel imaging Conduct protease digestion and time course experiment analysis Prepare samples for mass spectrometry Perform protein activity assays, such as enzyme assays and protein binding assays Analyze data, interpret results, and document in data systems Must Haves: Master s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field, or a Bachelor s degree with relevant experience Expertise in ELISA and western Solid background with LIMS and liquid handlers Experience with protein expression and purification techniques Familiarity with mass spectrometry methodology Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and best practices The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentSkillsElisaWestern BlotsLIMSProtein CharacterizationProtein PurificationProtein AnalyticsQualificationsYears of experience: 3 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
