Position Summary
Concordia University Wisconsin seeks qualified applicants for a part-time position of Engineering Laboratory Technician to assist Chair in establishing laboratories for Chemical, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering programs on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Procuring and installing equipment and systems
- Instrument calibration
- Conducting tests
- Data analysis
- Material handling and preparation
- Training faculty and students for laboratory experiences
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Maintaining/troubleshooting equipment
- Supporting engineering projects
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Proficiency in using complex equipment and industrial software
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills to meet the numerous and varied needs of engineering laboratories.
- Some lifting will be required
- Fully supportive of the Christian mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).
Education & Experience
- A post-secondary education in engineering technology or a related field is desirable.
- Previous experience with safety procedures and regulations

Compensation & Benefits
This is a part time, hourly non-exempt position. Starting wage may be determined upon education and/or experience.
