Description What Youll Be Responsible For

• Conducting both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols to ensure accuracy.
• Evaluating results for precision, diagnosing inconsistencies and troubleshooting issues, while managing routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assisting in specimen collection and preparing samples for further tests as required.
• Thoroughly documenting procedures, training new team members or students, and ensuring adherence to quality standards within the lab.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the laboratory while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Completion of a Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year from hire date.
• Ensure ongoing certification maintenance during employment.
