  • Full Time

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of the Biology team, you will:

  • Independently conduct key experiments to support RAS programs as well as new target identification and validation efforts.

  • Apply various cellular, molecular, and genetic techniques to characterize and enhance our mechanistic understanding of novel anti-cancer agents.

  • Maintain cultures of multiple human cancer cell lines to support experimental efforts.

  • Contribute to developing, and perform various cell-based assays to interrogate effects of inhibitors on signaling pathways.

  • Contribute to developing, and perform microplate-based quantitative assays using reagent kits.

  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, formulate testable hypotheses and propose follow up experiments within project scope, and present results at internal meetings.

  • Collaborate with team members to generate novel insights into key drivers of RAS-driven cancers.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or bachelor's and master's degree in Cell/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Genetics, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in an industry position or academic lab involving cell/tissue culture and cell/molecular biology with a bachelor's degree OR 3-5 years of experience with a master's degree.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with a wide range of cell and molecular biology techniques (e.g., cell line engineering, SDS-PAGE/Western blot, molecular cloning, DNA/RNA preparation, PCR, qPCR, etc.).

  • Proficiency with cell/tissue culture, including the ability to maintain multiple human cancer cell lines simultaneously with excellent aseptic technique.

  • Rigorous, detail-oriented, and quantitative experimentalist.
