Job Responsibilities What You Will Impact

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments through preventative upkeep and calibration routines.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for laboratory testing as required.
• Document all laboratory procedures thoroughly, providing training for new staff or students and helping to uphold the standards of lab quality.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Criteria

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
