We're looking for a passionate and curious Research Associate to join our team in Framingham, Massachusetts. What You'll Do:
Responsible for routine screening of compounds in various in vitro ADME/TOX assays and maintaining mammalian cells.
Plan and conduct high and low throughput in vitro ADME assays, processing data to a high quality of standards, and within specified time frames.
Create detailed experimental plans and make proposals according to client requests.
Train research associates/assistants on how to run assays, process data, write reports.
Verify accuracy of the data and ensure it meets quality standards.
Interpret the data and explain the results to the client during client meetings.
Deliver poster presentations for R&D projects.
Open new positions and interview candidates as needed for new projects.
Maintain standard operating procedures, validation reports, and business protocols.
Validate and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Assist the Scientists with validation and investigative assays.
Monitor and maintain stock consumables where required.
Provide support to the Senior Scientist, Laboratory Supervisors and Senior Research Scientist when troubleshooting.
Identify, within their group, where support is required and manages their own time sufficiently to provide this support.
Adhere to safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
Report any issues of concern and discuss/advise scientific strategy with the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Senior Research Scientist.
Responsible for compound management occasionally.
Who You Are:
BA/MS or equivalent experience in a relevant Biological or Chemical scientific discipline with at least 1 year's plus experience working within industry (pharma or CRO).
Effective communicator with strong organizational skills.
A curious problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot and multitask under pressure of deadlines.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team.
Experience with plate-based screening, cell culture, and LC-MS/MS experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $66,775 to $90,325; Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual's skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
