Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking multiple Laboratory Technicians for a long-term contract opportunity in St. Louis, MO.
Summary: This role will support a dynamic team of research and development scientists by performing laboratory tests (e.g., immunohistochemistry) to assist with product development.
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes such as purification, synthesis, and quality control.
Assist laboratory technicians and scientists with tasks including sample preparation, data collection, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Perform laboratory testing such as immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA, and other relevant assays for product development.
Maintain laboratory housekeeping and perform equipment calibration according to required schedules.
Complete all paperwork and documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Assist with generating, maintaining, and updating Design History Files (DHF) for new and existing products.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FDA, OSHA, USDA, EPA, ISO, and Quality System regulations, as applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline or a minimum of three years of laboratory experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with FDA QSRs and ISO 13485 (or related industry standards) preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment, procedures, and quality control practices.
Proficiency in LIMS and other laboratory software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret routine instructions, policies, and procedures (scientific literacy required).
Maintains high quality standards, is detail-oriented, able to multitask, and meets deadlines.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
