Job Description


Analytical Chemist I
Location : Lincoln, NE
Duration : Contract

Responsibilities:
  • Develops knowledge of Analytical Science & Technology policies and procedures.
  • Develops an understanding of applicable, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, data integrity and utilization of good documentation practices.
  • Conduct experiments using common analytical techniques in support of analytical method development and validation in a GxP laboratory.
  • Develops proficiency using analytical techniques to support upper-level scientists and assigned projects.
  • Responsible for preparation of solvents, standards, mobile phases, and samples required for analytical testing in support of assigned project expectations.
  • Management and testing of stability study samples.
  • Demonstrates proficiency using instrumentation to support work based upon assigned projects. This may include, but is not limited to: UPLC, HPLC, LC/MS and GC.
  • Understands established internal and external expectations and maintains effective communication pathways.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Laboratory Information System (eLN).
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree Life Science Minimum 3 years experience OR Bachelors Degree Life Science (Chemistry Preferred) - 0-5 years experience OR Masters Degree Life Science (Chemistry Preferred) 0 years of experience
  • Individual should have a good understanding of chemistry and laboratory instrumentation.
  • Experience in HPLC/UPLC mass spectrometry analysis.
  • Experience in trace levels analysis and analysis of impurities.
  • Strong Technical Writing Skills
  • Experience working in a GxP laboratory environment.
