Mon - Fri. 6am - 2:30pm As a Medical Lab Scientist II, your responsibilities: Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science from an accredited college or university WITH at least 1 year of training or experience in specialty in which testing will be performed. Such training must be equivalent to that received in a school of Medical Technology. 90 Semester hours from an accredited institution that include the following: 16 semester hours of Biology courses, 16 Semester ours of chemistry [must include at least 6 hours of inorganic Chemistry], and 3 Semester hours of Math- along with having completed an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or 1 year of documented Clinical Laboratory Training, or experience in the specialty that testing is to be performed. Associates Degree in Medical Technology Required: Need experience with reading plates of all culture types and with the following instruments: bioMerieux Vitek, bioMerieux Maldi-TOF mass spec, bioMerieux Virtuo, bioMerieux Biofire Film array, BD Affirm VPIII, Cepheid GeneXpert, Roche Eplex, Roche Liat, DiaSorin Liaison MDX Testing production samples. Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
