Description What Youll Do

• Carry out routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morewhile adhering to stringent protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Meticulously document procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and help maintain lab quality assurance.
• Promote a clean, safe working environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a closely related allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
