Description What Youll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment as required.
• Participate in specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Maintain extensive documentation, guide new interns or staff, and ensure compliance with high lab quality standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health program, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science Board Certification (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout the course of employment.
