The Work
As the Project Specialist, you will:
Report directly to the Manager of the Hardware Engineering Labs in Moorestown, NJ and be responsible for meeting business commitments.
Provide technical, programmatic and administrative oversight to a group of engineering technicians and in the Moorestown, NJ Hardware Engineering Laboratories. Key laboratory capabilities include full electrical characterization, full mechanical qualification, I&T, end-item acceptance test, reliability/life testing, MMIC device wafer probe test, complete component to subsystem characterization, full antenna pattern verification, subassembly build, Rapid prototyping, capability, firmware and algorithm development, cabinet assembly & test, and PROM programming capability.
Provide engineering laboratory infrastructure support to all Moorestown programs; and facilitate the operation, supervision and maintenance of 12+ state-of-the-art laboratories across the Moorestown campus.
Assist with administrative tasks including overhead budgets, capital appropriations, chemical ordering and skills training.
Assist employees to ensure they follow the appropriate standards, processes, procedures applicable to the build and test of hardware.
Assist the lab manager with creating and maintaining staffing plans, coordinating staffing forecasts and employee development, lab space allocation and employee work assignments.

Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET levelKnowledge of the following:
Operating, evaluating, and troubleshooting DC, Digital, and RF test equipment
PC deployment, expansion, and maintenance
Networking, physical routing, firewall maintenance and their LM policies and compliance
Engineering labs daily operations, support roles and functions
