Description What Youll Be Responsible For

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and othersadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree combined with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year post-hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
