- Perform testing and evaluations of raw materials, bulk, and finished products according to written procedures.
- Ensure current standard operating and test procedures are utilized and documentation records are accurate, complying with GMP requirements.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of various testing methodologies, including appropriate techniques and potential errors.
- Maintain neat and accurate records and clean, organized work areas.
- Ensure product quality specifications and customer standards are consistently met.
- Perform batch adjustments as needed and troubleshoot out-of-specification situations.
- Utilize data to focus improvement efforts to meet customer requirements and regulatory regulations.
- Accurately record all data in compliance with cGMP and document Key Quality Incidents monthly.
- Document out-of-specification situations, determine root causes, and suggest possible solutions.
- Maintain compliance with current regulatory expectations and practices, such as USP.
- Promote a culture of 'lean action' within the department.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
- 0-2 years of quality control industry experience in pharma, cosmetics, or food.
- Proficiency in laboratory skills, including the use of a pH meter, Brookfield spindle viscometer, and analytical balances.
- Ability to perform visual and odor inspections daily.
- Experience with solution preparation, wet chemistry titrations, HPLC, GC, and UV is a plus.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
