The position as Automation Chemist is an opportunity for candidates who would like to develop their careers from a central role as Automation Chemist into positions like Sales Manager or Workflow Architect.

Key Responsibilities for this position will include:

Prepare, transfer, and execute a variety of different workflows and chemical tests on our automated workstations
Present with enthusiasm our innovative workflow solutions during demos, tests
Be the ultimate go-to person for troubleshooting and application support for our customers worldwide (e.g. by HoloLens mixed reality remote assistance)
Help to further develop our solutions with innovative ideas
Installation of our automated laboratory solutions at our customer sites, user training and customer support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Master's degree will also be accepted.
Extensive lab experience preferably combined with industry experience and instrumentation
Ability to ineract with Chemspeed customers, incl travel to our north american customer sites or conferences and exhibitions.
Interest to combine chemistry with modern laboratory and automation equipment
Excellent communication skills in English - speaking German is a plus
Independent working, high degree of initiative and ready to integrate in a team of highly motivated automation chemists
Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required, with reliable transportation
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

At Chemspeed the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $70,000 and $103,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive
