Chemist

Location: Holland

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Chemist II to support R&D and pilot plant operations in a collaborative, fast-paced laboratory environment. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on analytical testing, instrument ownership, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.

	
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation including GC-MS, HPLC, NMR, and Karl Fischer systems
  
  	

• Perform analytical testing on pilot plant and production samples, documenting and reporting results accurately
  
  	

• Execute testing procedures in accordance with established methods, SOPs, and work instructions
  
  	

• Prepare, standardize, and validate laboratory reagents and standards
  
  	

• Review analytical data and enter results into electronic laboratory systems
  
  	

• Collaborate with pilot plant and cross-functional teams to interpret data and support process optimization efforts
  
  	

• Coordinate routine instrument maintenance, calibration, and external repair activities
  
  	

• Support daily laboratory operations including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining lab organization
  
  	

• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  
  	

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within laboratory operations
  
  

	
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related scientific discipline
  
  	

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or laboratory environments
  
  	

• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and laboratory testing techniques
  
  	

• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills
  
  	

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  
  	

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in a fast-paced setting
