Location:  Kannapolis (Onsite)
Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:  $20-$22/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a hands-on R&D Lab Technician to support product development efforts in a fast-paced laboratory environment focused on nutraceutical, pet, and veterinary products. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career or currently pursuing a degree who is interested in gaining practical experience in formulation, scale-up, and lab operations.
This role will work closely with a Scientist and play a key part in supporting benchtop trials, ingredient preparation, and data collection for new product development.
Key Responsibilities- Support formulation and development of new and existing products through benchtop mixing and scale-up activities
	 - Weigh and prepare ingredients according to established formulas
	 - Assist with powder, bar, and supplement product development trials
	 - Operate and learn lab equipment such as particle size analyzers, powder flow testers, and capsule testing tools
	 - Conduct and support studies including sensory, stability, and exploratory testing
	 - Collect, document, and organize experimental data using Excel and internal systems
	 - Maintain accurate lab records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
	 - Keep laboratory space clean, organized, and fully stocked
	 - Assist with general lab operations and additional tasks as needed
	
Qualifications
Required
- Associate’s degree in a science-related field OR currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related)
	 - 1–2+ years of hands-on lab, manufacturing, or internship experience
	 - Basic understanding of formulations, ingredients, or product development
	 - Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and being on your feet for extended periods
	 - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
	
Preferred
- Experience in food science, nutraceuticals, or supplement development
	 - Familiarity with lab equipment and formulation processes
	 - Experience with Excel or formulation software
