responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine cellular assays to support in vitro assay development with high attention to detail.
- Initiate and complete in vitro studies independently with minimal supervision, interpreting data and proposing follow-up experiments.
- Design and execute exploratory cell-based in vitro and biochemical assays, troubleshooting lab equipment as needed.
- Perform literature searches to extract relevant protocol information and apply scientific principles to study designs.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic lab notebooks and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and SOPs.
qualifications:
Required:
- Master's degree with 1+ years of experience in a related scientific discipline OR a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of STEM experience.
- Strong background in aseptic cell culture techniques and executing cell-based assays with functional readouts.
- Proven experience with molecular biology techniques including nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR, Western Blot, and ELISA.
- Proficiency with data analysis software like Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism.
- Excellent collaborative, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Note: No PhD candidates will be considered for this role.
