Location: Cambridge, MA Client: Leading Biopharma Company The Precision Genetics group within the Data and Genome Sciencesdepartment is hiring a Ph.D.-level contractor to join itsComputational Precision Genetics team. This is a 100% onsite rolein Cambridge, MA (no remote, no BS/MS candidates). Qualifications & Skills: Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Computational Biology, or relatedfield 5+ years of hands-on experience in genetic data analysis Expertise in variant analysis, population genetics, and genomicannotations Proficient in R, Python, Bash, and familiar with HPC and AWS Cloud(IAM, S3) Strong understanding of statistical methods and dataintegration Excellent documentation and communication skills Preferred: Experience with real-world genetic data Familiarity with tools like GATK, bcftools, ANNOVAR, PLINK, QTLanalysis, etc. Understanding of statistical genetics and machine learning Responsibilities: Perform QC and advanced analysis on genetic datasets Retrieve and integrate data from databases (e.g., gnomAD, ClinVar,Ensembl, GTEx) Conduct variant calling, genotype imputation, QTL & populationgenetics analysis Integrate omics data (genomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic,proteomic) Document workflows and results clearly and efficiently If you're a motivated Ph.D. scientist ready to dive deep intocutting-edge genetic data analysis, apply now!
