Process Engineer

Description

Actalent is partnering with company which primarily focuses on high-performance plastics and thermoset materials. They are seeking a Process Engineer with some supervision experience to join the team. - Will be overseeing process improvements in the plant- Will be supporting shift supervisors and helping lead the team with improvements- Will be working with hot oil systems, steam, systems, different mechanical equipment such as postulators (which takes hot resin and turns into pellets)- Will be working with polymer reactions - Majority of role will be out in the plant

- Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline - Chemical Engineering preferred- 2 years of process engineering experience- 1-2 years of supervision experience- Strong mechanical aptitude - Chemical experience - polymer reaction experience preferred- Experience with hot oil systems, steam systems, postulators (takes hot resin and turns into pellets) preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
